He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Appelfeller and Leona Jane Appelfeller Sr. (Roux); and his brother-in-law Tom Rarick. He is survived by: his wife Jan Appelfeller (Young) of Bucyrus; his children, Amy Workley (William) of Carroll, Christian Appelfeller of Dublin, Michael Appelfeller (Jennifer) of Lancaster and Harry L. Appelfeller III of Bucyrus; his grandchildren, Ashley Voils (Mullins), Zackary Appelfeller, Mitchell Workley, Allison Appelfeller, Nicholas Appelfeller, Aaron Appelfeller, Claire Appelfeller, Elijah Appelfeller, Elizabeth Appelfeller and Brody Appelfeller; and his siblings, Joyce Rarick of Bucyrus, Andy Appelfeller (Sherril) of Marion, Samuel Appelfeller (Linda) of Mt. Victory, Linda Sue Meloy (Sonny) of Mt. Victory, Frank Appelfeller of Mason and Jon Appelfeller of West Mansfield. He is also survived by 5 step children, 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
