He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Myers and Mary Myers (Gallagher); his siblings, Clarence, Dicky, Jim, Tommy and Myrtle; and the mother of his children Shirley Schwemley.

He is survived by : his children, Victor Schwemley (Debora) of Bucyrus, Tammy Jo Schwemley of Ontario and Brenda Schwemley of Ontario; his grandsons, Cody A. Roberson and Joshua Schwemley-Roberson; his stepgrandsons, Jason and Brandon; and his sisters, JoAnn Dunn Mansfield and Mary Pinyard of Crestline. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
