She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Sr. Ruffing and Sophia Amelia Ruffing (Miller); her sisters, Elizabeth Ruffing and Rosemary Taylor; her brother-in-law Wilbur Taylor; her brother Donald Ruffing; and her sister-in-law Carol Ruffing.

She is survived by : her husband Richard; her brothers, Myron Ruffing of Bellevue and Alfred Jr. (Marie Ruffing); her parents-in-law, Richard Jr., Angela Schmidt of Tamaqua, PA, Scott, Susan Schmidt of Spring Lake, MI, Rebecca, Tim Palko of Haslett, MI, Mike Walter of Shelby, OH, Benjamin and Jennifer Schmidt of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Torrey, Allison Schmidt, Tyler, Molly Schmidt, Travers, Shannon Schmidt, Schuyler, Evan Earl, Teague Schmidt, Sarah Schmidt, Min Lee, Stephen Schmidt, Jacklyn, David Holzwart, Bailey Walter, Camden Walter, Conrad Schmidt and Lydia Schmidt; and her great grandchildren, Logan Schmidt, Lucy Schmidt, Trexler Schmidt, Tawson Schmidt, Eleanor Schmidt, Cillian Earl and Adaline Holzwart. She is also survived by her five children.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful that memorial contributions be made to Carlisle Place Activities or Kindred Hospice.
