He was predeceased by: his father Charles Roop Sr.; and his siblings, Elger, Melvin, Charles Jr., Violet Shirk, Lucille Rush and Ardis Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to either the Bucyrus or Colonel Crawford Booster Clubs.
