He was predeceased by: his parents, Gazy "James" and Christina Texter (Lisko); his son-in-law Christopher Garvin; and his granddaughter Stephanie Buser. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Hanna; his children, David Texter (Christina) of Salem, Kathy Buser (Ron) of Struthers, Lisa Garvin of Cortland and Sharon Texter of Boardman; his grandchildren, Steven Doyle (Brittany), Matthew, Hannah, Brian, Jared Texter, Rachel, Michelle Buser, Sarah, Anna, Laura Garvin, Joey and Jamie Callard; his great grandchildren, Cieria and Aiden; and his siblings, Louis Texter of Campbell and Martha Polish (Chuck) of Austintown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to mvi Hospice Care, 4891 Belmont Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44505 in Dave's memory.
