She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Steven Vavlas and Ed Schumm; and her siblings, Walter Oberman, Ted Oberman, Jenny Snyder, Bernice Chittock, Cecilia Oberman and Lillian Syms.
She is survived by: her parents, John Oberman and Malvina Bojda Oberman; her daughters, Louise Schumm of Denver, Shirley Willich (Steve) of Campbell, Carol Sperber of San Francisco and Monica Kenworthy of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Lori Kennedy (Bennett), John Vavlas, Ken Schumm, Damon Sperber and Julia Rosado; her brother Ben Oberman of Youngstown; and her husband John. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the Heritage Presbyterian Church Food Bank in memory of Josephine.
