She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Gorski; her children, James, Robert (Barbara), Richard "Skip" (Carol) of Canton and Cheryl Manion (Dave) of Boardman; her sister-in-law Betty Ann Wasko (Fiffick); her sister Gladys; her brother-in-law Cy Balas; her brother Jack Wasko; and her parents, John Wasko and Julia Onder Wasko. She was also cherished by grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Virginia's name to the American Heart Association.
