Geraldine L. Nitz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine L. Nitz of Canal Fulton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geraldine L. Nitz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gallagher and Lena Gallagher (Warner); her former husband Pat Freed; her husband Donald Nitz; and her sisters, Shirley Siegenthaler and Joan Sullivan.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Freed (Rose), Ken Nitz (Melinda), Mark Nitz, Doug Nitz (Rachel) and Steve Nitz (Amy); and her pet Patches. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clinton Cemetery's. Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerry's memory to The North Lawrence Fire Department.
