He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie James Adams and Ellen Elizabeth "Betty" Adams (Fornash); and his siblings, Linda Joyce Adams, Brenda Lee Adams and Jeffery Blake Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Adams (King); his children, James R. Adams II, Brandy Bramlett (Jim) and Jessica Adams; his grandchildren, Tina Calloway (Rob), First Lieutenant Nicholaus J. Adams, Elizabeth "Libby" Adams, Rebekah "Bekah" Bramlett, Olivia and O. J.; his mother-in-law Thelma King; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Parnell, Larry Elliott, Barry Parnell and David King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark Co Humane Society in Jim's honor.
