She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Annette Holeman (Sanderfer) and Paul Daniel Holeman; her grandson Joshua Paul Knight; and her husband Dallas Marshall Hastings. She is survived by: her children, Larry Douglas Hastings, Cindy Jean Smith, Donna Jean Lane, Kimberly Jean Knight, Pamela Hastings, John Smith, Kevin Lane and Shawn Knight; her grandchildren, Anna Renee Losse (Drew Losse), Conor Jaymes Lane, Jackson Paul Knight, Emily Jean Gallo (Paul Gallo), Carly Jane Lane (Zachary King), Lucas Paul Knight (Eve Knight), Matthias Paul Knight, Samuel Paul Knight (Kaleigh Sypes), Rebekah Lindsey Knight (Justin Smith) and Sarah Christine Lane; and her great grandchildren, Kaley Christine Ferguson, Kori Jane Ferguson, Carter Joshua Losse, Oaklea June Sypes and Julian Earnest Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home (624 Cherry St E, Canal Fulton, OH 44614). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Sam Center (8101 Manchester Ave NW, Canal Fulton, OH 44614).
