He is survived by: his mother Carolyn "Lyn"; his children, Robert Simmons (Valerie) and Allison Helmick (Clint); his wife Jackie; his siblings, John Simmons (Danielle), Ty Simmons, Cindy (Angelo) and Jeremy Simmons; his grandchildren, David Simmons, Colton Helmick and Evelyn Helmick; and his pet Leo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
