He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Durkin and Louise Durkin (Zeigler); his siblings, Donald, Arthur, Michael and Pegge Ormond; and his great grandchild Alyssa Park.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Adrian (Norma) and Timothy (Yvette); his sister Bonnie Salatin; his grandchildren, Matthew (Kirsten), Brianna, Jacob, Antonio, Enrique, Jenny (Evan), Michael (Jenn) and Marcus (Fallon); his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Aleah, Trenton, Dylan, Jonathan, Tryton, Gage, Zayden, Mikayla, Kirra and Charlie; and his friends, Carl, Helen Jones, Cleve and Carol Valton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barney's memory to Madison Christian Church.
