He is survived by: his parents, Gary and Irene of Fairborn, Ohio; his sister Linda Hanek (Doug) of Trafalgar; his nephew Jakob Hanek; and his uncles, Steven Bricker (Jason) of Worthington, Karl, Heinz Steffes, Albert Steffes, Gerd Steffes and Germany.
