With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Buchanan (Canal Winchester, Ohio), born in Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Buchanan and Frances Brayton Buchanan; his wife Ruth Hollon Buchanan; his children, Michael Davis and Carol Ann Upchurch; and his siblings, Harriette Seward, Lillian Parker, John, Charles and David Buchanan.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Burch (Stephen) of Carroll, Gary Buchanan (Morgan) of Hillsboro and Daniel Buchanan (Lisa) of Leesburg; his children-in-law, Diane Davis of Mason and Paul Upchurch of Circleville; his grandchildren, Sage, Caiden Brooke, Nathaniel, Grace Buchanan, Josef, Christopher Shewring (Alicia), Kerianne Shewring (Dominik Volker) and Shane Davis; and his siblings, Marjorie Parsons of Hillsboro and Ralph "Pete" Buchanan of Hillsboro. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
