With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Jane Black of Canal Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lois Jane may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Snyder and Olive Snyder; her husband John Black; and her grandson Christopher Rawlins. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Cottingham, Melissa Peterson, Cynthia Rawlins (Kevin) and Jeffery Black (Kelly). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; as well as many extended family members and friends.
