She was predeceased by : her parents, George Mitsch and Antonia Mitsch; her husband Steve Darby; her son Steve Darby Jr.; her sister Gabriele Watson; and her brother-in-law Charlie Browning (Mahala).

She is survived by : her son David Darby (Mary); her grandchild Nizhoni; her sister Gerlinde Potvin; her daughter-in-law Kathy Darby; her grandchildren-in-law, Byron Darby and Christian Werts; her niece Heather Browning; and her nephew Willie Watson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home (650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin Hills (5802 Elder Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110).
