With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodger U Dunn of Canal Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Dunn; and his siblings, O. W. Dunn Jr., Robert Dunn, Kathleen Dunn and Keith Dunn.
He is survived by: his father O. W. Dunn; his wife Dorothy Dunn; his son Adam Dunn (Heather Dunn); his grandchildren, Hayden and Grant; his daughters, Melissa Dunn and Mary Jo Cline; and his grandchildren, Jacklyn (Campbell), Josh, Jeff, Ariah, Layla, Jalin, Kyson and Jonah.
For 35 years, Rodger lent his analytical mind and tireless work ethic to the Ohio Department of Transportation, where he built a distinguished career in traffic research, including his contributions to Ohio's Real-time Travel Time Prediction System (TIPS).
