It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John J. Droney of Canfield, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Droney and Therese Thurik Droney; and his sons, Jeffrey Droney and Brian Droney. He is survived by : his wife Jeannette Kos Droney; his daughter Christina Dascenzo (James) of Canfield; his grandchildren, Michael Droney, Abbigail Yavorsky, Nicole Dascenzo and Michael Dascenzo; and his brother Tim Droney of Hartford, Conn..

Because of the current pandemic, private calling hours and a private service only will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
