It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Downing (Carey, Ohio), who passed away on February 27, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Allan D. Downing; and his siblings, Carl Downing, Herbert Downing, Clara Law and Evelyn Crawford.

He is survived by: his spouse Donna Mae Garee; his daughter Linda Burnett (Tom) of Venedocia; his daughter-in-law Trina Downing of Carey; and his sister Marie Landers (Don) of Dayton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
