It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elena Coates (Carey, Ohio), born in Sylvania, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 15, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jalon Coates and Persis Coates (Cabralez); her brother Diego Coates; her grandparents, Maria Campos, Leonette Bonds and Don Jackson (Joyce); her aunts and uncles, Tyson Coates (Amy), Marco Coates (Marie), Ivano Coates (Dahlia), Luis Campos, Pedro Campos, Jesse Campos (Daisy), Donnette Hutchinson (Dominique), Lamae Sanchez (Franco) and April Coates; and her cousin Monico Adkins (Hermelinda).
