He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence James and Evelyn Oxyley James; his wife Shirley; and his son Doug. He is survived by: his son Dennis James of Canton; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Simmons of Canton; his grandson Tyler James; and his brother Thomas James of Vermont. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
