He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Niles and Ruth Householder Whitmer; and his brother-in-law Bob Tipton. He is survived by: his wife Vicki R. Tipton Whitmer; his daughter Ashley Franks (Steven) of Dellroy, OH; his siblings, Amy Jo Hoffner (Michael) and Randy Whitmer of Massillon, OH; his nephew Devin Tipton of Carrollton; his nieces, Courtney Hoffner of Massillon, Morgan Hoffner of Massillon, Angie Tipton of Carrollton and Sarah Jean Tipton of Carrollton; and his brother-in-law Jeff Tipton (Darla) of Carrollton.
The family has requested that all attendees observe COVID protocols and please wear a mask.
