He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Elifritz and Mildred Elifritz (Ashworth); and his siblings, Genevieve Caldwell Shuman, Donald, John, Bill and Dale Elifritz.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Elifritz (Harkless); his children, Jeanie McCully (Paul) of Carrollton, James S. Elifritz Jr. (Ida) of Jamestown, Julie A. McIntire (Brian) of Sherrodsville, OH, Jill A. Cline (Bruce) of Sherrodsville, OH and Jeff Elifritz of Sherrodsville, OH; and his siblings, Raymond Elifritz of Columbus, Colleen Blymiller of Sherrodsville, Bob Elifritz of Malvern, OH, Cynthia Strawder of Bowerston, OH and Loretta Hupp of Crossville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and another expectant granddaughter.
