He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester A. "Ves" and Wilhelmina "Minnie" Gleasenkamp Schumacher; and his siblings, Frederick Schumacher (Margaret) of Woodsfield, Raymond Schumacher (Betty) of Marion, Gladys Pfeffer (Carl) of Woodsfield and Dorothy Schwallie (Leo) of Caldwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Rita Schumacher of Carrollton; and the mother of his child Marsha Schumacher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
