With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Barnes of Carrollton, Ohio, born in Wadsworth, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barnes and Dorothy Barnes (Goffinet); his wife Dianne L.; and his siblings, Larry, Thomas Barnes and Kathy Lepley.
He is survived by: his children, Brett Barnes (Lori) of Minerva, OH and Tammi Rice (Jack) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Evan and Brennan; his brother Denny E. Barnes (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Ira Lepley, Kathy Barnes and Marcia Barnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service following Covid-19 guidelines requiring facial coverings, social distancing, and limited number of guests will be on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 2 p. m. at Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.
