He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his sister Linda Avellon (Guy) of Lake Barrington, IL; his nephews, Tom Avelon (Amanda Baker) of Tampa, FL and Dr. Nathaniel H. Poorman; his daughter Julia Poorman of Basking Ridge, NJ; his niece Kimberly Braid (Peter); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Brody and Marielle of Round Lake, IL; his nieces, Kelley Bevington (Andrew Burch) of Nashville, TN and Lisa Burch; and his great-nephew Ethan of Newark, DE..
