He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph A. Barrera and Bertha Barrera (Novak). He is survived by : his wife Joyce Barrera (Byrd); his children, John Barrera (Heather) of Enon and Angela Barrera (Jon Miracle) of Clayton; his brothers, Bruce Barrera (Anne Marie) of Phoenix, AZ and Gary Barrera (Pam) of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Camille, Gabrielle, Daniel, Christine and Jillian.
