She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Leugers and Josephine Leugers (Zumbrink); her husband Cecil Simon; her stepson Steven Simon; and her siblings, Rose Keller (Victor), Florence Gehle (Al), Helena Harms, Loretta Hale (Dick), Alvina Clifford (Stanley), Frank Leugers (Christine), Leroy Leugers (Flora) and Linus Leugers (Patricia).

She is survived by : her stepson Michael (Cheryl); and her nieces, Sherry Heiser and Cathy Vian.
