It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Frances O'Brien (Chesterland, Ohio), who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jean Frances may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jean Frances touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Elizabeth (Grubiss) and Lawrence Mason Brown; her husband Bill; and her sister Mary Therese Brown (Larry P. Brown). She is survived by: her sons, William B. O'Brien of Columbus, Michael E. O'Brien (Donna) of Chicago and Patrick J. O'Brien of Columbus, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Jared, Mollie and Emma.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home (12524 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anselm Catholic Church (12969 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the All Souls Cemetery (10366 Chardon Rd, Chardon, OH 44024).
