He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Connor and Virginia Turley O'Connor; his brothers, Donald O'Connor and Robert O'Connor; and his nephew Donnie O'Connor.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Thomas O'Connor; his sons, John O'Connor, Jr. (Christy) and Matthew O'Connor (Lindsey); his grandsons, Liam O'Connor, Dexter O'Connor and Noah Adams; and his brother-in-law David Thomas of Dayton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
