He was predeceased by: his spouse Josephine M. Jones; his child Earl G. Lowery; and his sibling Betty Mae. He is survived by: his children, Deborah S. Gibbs (Joseph), Helen C. Johnston (late William), Diana L., Alfred N. Jones Jr. and Angela Jacobs; and his siblings, Jeanine Heinrich and Sharon Gibson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
