He is survived by: his parents, Robert McCellan Shaffer, Sr. and Ruth Marie Shaffer (Murphy); his children, Christopher Michael LaGory of Maine, Misty Spring Shaffer and Miranda Kay Fraley; his grandchildren, Zoie Marie Earls of Cincinnati, Brinley Nicole LaGory of Maine, Damion Wayde "Luke" Nichols and Evagail RosaLeigh "Evy" Shaffer; and his siblings, Darlene Cassidy (Shaffer) of Kentucky, Robert Shaffer, Jr. of Cincinnati, Donald Shaffer (Carol) of Hillsboro, Jeffery Shaffer of Kentucky and Debbie Shaffer of Cincinnati. He is also survived by two nieces and nephews and twenty one great nieces and great nephews.
