She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Gault and Roussia Gault; her husband Fernand "Fred" Payen; and her siblings, Jesse Gault Jr., Arthur Eugene "Gene" Gault Sr., Harry Gault, Reverand Lillie Hale-Bradford, William "Bill" Gault and Wanda "Sue" Folenius.
She is survived by: her children, Lycia Maurits (Todd Bennett) and Susan Shriver (Duwayne); her grandchildren, Ryan Maurits (Holly Claxton), Alex Maurits, Andrew Shriver (Cassie Keiter) and Natalee Shriver; and her great grandchild Lyla Shriver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
