She was predeceased by: her spouse DeWolfe Rossman Turpeau, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Evita Louise Sherman, Evetta Louise Sherman, Debra Turpeau, Tanya Boileau (Jay), Connie Turpeau and Dr. Rossman Turpeau III (Chiante); her grandchildren, Lawrence Tay Dixon and Kristin Wims Marable; her sister Carmelita Friason Goodwin; her siblings-in-law, Aaron and Brenda Turpeau; her nieces and nephews, Carmen Louise Spencer, Joyzelle Friason, Vernon Friason, Jerry Friason, Gregory Bruce Friason and Phillip Friason; and also Collins Robert Spencer IV.
