She was predeceased by : her sister Margie Algarin; and her parents, Victor Algarin and Dolores Algarin. She is survived by : her husband Jim Brackmann; her children, Lynda Lasure (Jeff), Laura Brossart (Johnny) and James V. Brackmann; her granddaughter Lydia; and her siblings, Judith Curren, Sonia Algarin, Carmen Diaz, Linda Kelly, Nilsa Alicea and Raymond Algarin.
