He was predeceased by : his brothers, Nick and Fred Wimmers. He is survived by : his spouse Ruth Wimmers; his children, Dave Wimmers (Kim), Debbie Wimmers (Doug Fasbinder) and Dan Wimmers (Lora); his grandchildren, Lynn Becker (Dan), Kevin Siemer (Lauren), Michelle Grim (Trae), Sean Ashcraft (Lanita), David Wimmers, Jenny Wimmers, James Wimmers, Darion Wimmers and Keelie Wimmers; and his siblings, Charlie Wimmers (Mary) and JoAnn Werle (Bob). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
