He was predeceased by: his spouse Verna Coorey; and his sibling Francis. He is survived by: his children, John Coorey (Mary Lee), Robert Coorey, Kathy Howe (Andy) and Karen Schulte; his grandchildren, John Coorey, Alex Coorey, Sara Howe, Jessica Schulte and Emily Schulte; his great grandchildren, Jackson Coorey and Juliana Coorey; and his siblings, Mike, Abie, Ray, George Coorey, Julia Volz, Clara Coorey and Marie Linville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
