He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert W. and Venetta Schottelkotte (Mentrup); his brother Albert J. Schottelkotte; his stepmother Hilda Koch Schottelkotte; and his stepsister Janet Heil.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Schottelkotte (Kraft); his children, David Schottelkotte, Kathleen Schottelkotte, Stephen Schottelkotte (Vicki) and Julia Taylor (Tim); his grandchildren, Michael Schottelkotte (Jessica), Robert Schottelkotte (Molly), Madelyn, Samuel, Luke Taylor, Christin Garcia and Kaylyn Morris; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Schottelkotte and Clara Schottelkotte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
