He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Mary Barthel; his siblings, Lorraine Price, Edwin II, Russell Barthel and Keith Barthel; and his son Edwin IV.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Barthel; and his children, Kenneth, Daniel, Burnet Avenue and Cincinnati. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
