It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leroy Sowder (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mossie Noe; and his brothers, Ray, Dale and John Sowder. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sowder; his daughter Donna (Michael Fields); and his grandchildren, Jessica O'Hearne (Peter) and Alex Exum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freedom Baptist Church (1806 Freedom School Rd, Mt Vernon, KY 40456). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 4:15 PM at the Freedom Cemetery (1806 Freedom School Rd, Mt Vernon, KY 40456).
