He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Meibers Vale; and his sibling Bill Vale (Toni). He is survived by: his children, Tim Vale (Cheri), Jim Vale (April), Carolyn Reusch (Brian) and Julie Long (Edward); his grandchildren, Adam, Danny, Lindsey, Alex, Max, Libby, Loren, Chelsey, Brady, Nathan, Hannah, Megan, Rachel and Eddie; his sibling Marilyn Weinheimer (late Harold); and his siblings-in-law, Don Meibers (Lena), Eileen Goeltz (Tom) and Mel Meibers (Gloria).
