She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas J. Schinner; her child Thomas S. Schinner; and her sibling Mabel Wells. She is survived by: her children, Susan Durfee (Duke), Sally Westendorf (Dan Smith), Tim Schinner (Stephanie) and Steven Schinner (Amy); her grandchildren, Joe Westendorf (Ellen), Michael Westendorf (Kelli), Christie Stange (Michael), Ben Schinner and Meg Schinner; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Stange and Will Stange.
