He is survived by: his wife Janet Wirthlin; his children, Andrew Wirthlin (Heather), Allison Wirthlin and Alexander Wirthlin (Lindsay); and his siblings, J. Stephen Wirthlin Jr., Linda Tate (Jeffrey) and Patricia Heath (Gus).
