He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Helmers and Marlene Helmers; and his sister Tracey Messerle (Dave). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Helmers; his stepchildren, Brandon Wood (Stephanie) and Ryan Wood (Haley); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Sophia and Cameron; his parents-in-law, Gary and Diane Graff; and his siblings, Ralph Helmers, David Helmers (Diane), Beverly Westerfield (Ed), Rick Helmers and Mark Helmers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home (4619 Delhi Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238).
