He was predeceased by: his daughter Lucia; and his siblings, Mario, Velio and Angelo. He is survived by: his children, Dominico (Allyson), Guido (Emily), Giuseppe Salzano and Angelo Salzano; his daughter-in-law Charity Salzano; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Libby Stout, Nico, Nica, Sophia, Vince, Giana, Nicolino and Valio Salzano; and his sibling Chiarina. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
