She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Hughes and Morning Star Baptist Church (Pastor James Wynn); her husband James E. Johnson; her siblings, Pauline Williams, Solomon Thomas Cole (ST), Nathaniel Cole (Bubble) and Evelyn Hughes; her children, Arthur Moss and Tonya Johnson; and her niece Paula Rease-Cole.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Bane-Hunter, Vernita Harrison, Ophelia Godfrey, Jane Bailey, Michael Turner, Donna Wallace (Michael), Brenda Wills, Holly Johnson-Davis, LaShon Valentine and Toneil Johnson (Mark). She is also survived by five Godchildren, 36 Grandchildren, 53 Great Grandchildren, 31 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
