She was predeceased by: her spouse Carl Roy Sims Sr; her parent Thomas Hardin; her child Dolores Jeffries Helm (Tom); and her sibling Daisy David Whitaker (Otho). She is survived by: her parent Minnie Shreve Hardin; and her children, Michelle "Micki" Spears (Jerry), Carl R. Sims Jr (Jay) and Phyllis Ann Sims. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
