He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Walter Pinckney Hunsucker, Sr. and Annie Mae Boggs Hunsucker; his wife Rachel A. Hunsucker; his siblings, Elizabeth (Libby), Carpenter (Kenneth E. Carpenter, Sr.), John Franklin Hunsucker, Sr. (Mary Brittain Hunsucker) and Mary Ruth Fulbright (Joe R. Fulbright, Sr.); and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Allen Hager (Ray) and Lucille Allen Pitts (Ralph).
He is survived by: his daughter Tollie H. Chavis (Jim Mandel); his grandson Tyler M. Chavis (Lindy); and his great grandchild Luca J. Chavis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
