He was predeceased by: his spouse Phylis Ensign of Claridon; and his brothers, Elden Valentine and Dale Valentine. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Linda Ensign (Lanny Stone), Vickie Kuhn (Rich), Jan Ensign, Joseph E. Moore, Mikki Buterbaugh and Katrina Motil; his brother-in-law Richard Ensign; Congregational Church of Claridon.
