It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendolyn McCurry (Cleveland Heights, Ohio), who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her brother Lorenza Smart Jr. (Wanda); and her children, Deborah A. Pollard (William), Constance L. Leftridge, Carl E. (Julyn), Yvonne Cook (late Melvin), Katherine E. Knox (Michael), Daniel (Denell), David (Sandra), Marie A. Norris (Mark) and Valicia L. Haywood (Michael).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Imani Temple Ministries (2463 N Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
